Martha Sue England

Martha Sue England, 72, of Welch WV departed this heavenly world on July 7^th 2022, at her home, surrounded by family and friends.

Born July 18^th, 1948 in Big Four WV, she was the daughter of Herbert Peaks and Laura Agnes Belcher. Martha was a homemaker and caregiver for numerous family members. Before her illness, she attended Welch Church of God in Welch.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of fifty-four years, Junior England, her daughter Heather Edwards and her brother, Johnny Peaks.

Those left to cherish her memories are one daughter, Kimberly Jessee and her fiancé Uriel Torres of Statesville NC; four grandsons, two of whom Martha raised – Jeffrey Edwards and partner Maddy Wimmer of Statesville NC; Landon Edwards of the home; Brian Hernandez and Christopher Hernandez of Statesville, NC; three granddaughters, Kelsey Jessee and fiancé Chris Carter of Salisbury NC; Joy Jessee of Salisbury NC; HanMi Fann of Mooresville NC, and one great-granddaughter, Sadie Rose Edwards of Statesville NC; one sister, Brenda Peaks and partner Darrel Lipscomb of Welch; four brothers, Freddie Peaks and wife Sherri of Princeton, Ralph Peaks of Welch, Danny Peaks of Welch, and Kenneth Peaks of Welch, and one sister-in-law, Alice Whitehead.

The family would like to thank the two caregivers that provided care throughout her illness, Angie Edwards and Elisa Sizemore. Friends may call Saturday, July 9^th from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV. Service will begin at 11:00 AM with Mr. Jute Sizemore speaking.
