Margaret Ann Fowler

Margaret Ann Billips Fowler, 70, of Bluefield Va. passed away peacefully at home June 26th, 2026. Born December 14, 1955, she was the daughter of late Carl E. Billips and Pearl Marie Stallard Billips. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband David Lee Fowler, brother Earl Marvin Billips, sister Della Mae Hanks, and grandson Clayton David Fowler II.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughter Stacy L Myers and husband Mark of Bland Va., grandchildren Brandon Mark Myers, Jacob A. Myers, Addison M. Myers, great-grandson Jaxon Myers. Son Clayton David Fowler, children Isabella J. Giampacaro and Grayson Bradberry. Brothers Rex (Linda) Billips, Clayton (Sherri) Billips, Sisters Wanda (Wayne) Wood, Charlotte (Roger) Mitchem, Louis (Dave) Ashworth and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Margaret worked twenty years at New Graham Pharmacy as a cook and spent the last 10 years running her own restaurant, Margaret’s Country Corner. Margaret’s greatest love was taking care of her family and spoiling her grandchildren. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her and made a lasting impact of countless customers, whom she lovingly called “her friends” throughout the years. She especially loved her First Responders who were more like family than customers. Margaret will be remembered best for her beautiful smile, big hugs and for never meeting a stranger.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Margaret’s life on July 1, 2026. Visitation will take place from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Craven-Shires Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at the same location officiated by Paster Cliff Bowman at 2:00PM. A graveside service will be held at Grandview Memorial Gardens after the service. Family and friends will serve as Pall Bearers.
