Madeline Sue Asbury

Madeline Sue Asbury, 54, of Falls Mills, VA passed away Monday, December 26, 2022 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born June 10, 1968 in Bluefield, WV, she was a daughter of the late Danny Harmon, Sr. and Carolyn Bell Harmon. She was a CNA and was a member of Deliverance Temple Church. In addition to her parents, Madeline was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Lee Harmon; sister, Heather Harmon; and son, R.D. Sparks.

Those left to cherish Madeline’s memory are her husband, Charles Asbury of the home; son, Dakota Asbury; daughter, Tiffany Sparks; step-daughters, Amanda Willis and April Asbury; brothers, Mo Harmon and Ray Harmon; and 7 grandchildren.

Memorial service will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Scott officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will be scheduled for the Spring at Shillings Cemetery on Browning Lambert Mountain. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Carl Lawson Cancer Center, 275 Dry Hill Rd., Beckley, WV 25801. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Asbury family.
