Lucille M Taylor

Lucille M. Taylor, 98, of Littlesburg Road, Bluefield, WV, passed after a short illness on August 10, 2021 at the Galax Rehab and Nursing Center.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin W. Taylor and sons, Melvin and David.  Survived by her daughters, Linda, Ann, Sandra, and Frankie; and son, Richard, all living around the Galax, VA area. She also leaves generations of grandchildren.

She was born October 14, 1922 and resided in West Virginia for most of her life. She was a member at New Salem United Methodist Church.  She had been living at Princeton Towers and was the President of the Towers Association for many years.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, August 13, 2021 at Craven’s Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Robbie Vance officiating. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum, 450 Courthouse Road, Princeton, where friends will serve at pallbearers. Friends may call from 10:30 AM until the time of service.
