Linda Maria Kessinger Hurst

Linda Maria Kessinger Hurst, 65, of Bluefield, WV passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at her home.  Born April 10, 1956 in Bluefield, WV, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Nellie Kessinger, of Athens. Linda had resided in Sandlick since 1976, and attended the Princeton Church of God. Linda graduated Concord University and was a Social Worker.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Keith Hurst, and her son, Joshua Keith Hurst.

Those left to cherish Linda’s memory are her daughter, Amanda Maria Hurst of Roanoke, VA; her faithful companion Bop; sister, Brenda McCormick of Princeton, WV; brother, Ted “Leslie” Kessinger, and his wife, Tracy, of Princeton, WV; and sister, Terri Kessinger of Speedway, WV; several nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Moeller officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV.  The family will receive friends on Monday, February 28, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Hurst family.
