Linda Sue George

Linda Sue George, 83, of Kips Road, Princeton, WV, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital.

Born on January 4, 1940 in Eckman, WV, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Nancy Parks Forrest. She was a homemaker and was of the Church of God faith. She was the last surviving member of her family.

Survivors include her husband, Glen George of the home; Glenna Anderson of Princeton, Tammy (Jimmy) Fowler of Pulaski, VA; 4 grandchildren, Rachel (Ronnie) Smith of Princeton, WV, Samantha Fowler of Pulaski, VA, Justin (Brittany) Fowler of Pulaski, VA; and Glen (Ashley) McCoy of TN; and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Johnny Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Glen McCoy, Ronnie Smith, Sr., Ronnie Smith, Jr., Mike Davis, Luke Foster and Tyler Smith serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be Monday, April 3, 2023 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell.
