Linda Morehead Coburn

Linda Morehead Coburn, 79, of Bluefield, VA passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at her home. Born September 16, 1944 in Bland, VA, she was a daughter of the late Oren and Edna Morehead. Linda was retired from the business she and her husband owned and operated, Coburn Refrigeration. She attended Graham Christian Church. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Coburn; and sister, Janet Hoosier.

Those left to cherish Linda’s memory are her son, Floyd R. Coburn II of Bluefield, VA; sisters, Rhonda Burton of Salem, VA, and special sister, Linda Wolfe of Bluefield, VA; one granddaughter, Emily Coburn.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, March 18, 2024 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Minister Gary Lyons officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Bluefield, VA where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jamie Burton and Eugene Wolfe. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Linda’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Gentiva Hospice, 245 Holston Rd., Ste A, Wytheville, VA 24382.
