Linda Gay Bailey, 68, of Northfork, WV, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at her home.

Born on January 31, 1956 in Algoma, she was a daughter of the late Perry Oscar and Opal Lee Mitchem Sizemore. She had been a lifelong resident of McDowell County and was a homemaker. She was a faithful servant of the Lord.

She was preceded in death by a great grandchild, Rhiannon Booker.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Bailey of the home; a son, Paul (April) Bailey of Brushfork; a daughter, Melina (Scott) Michels of Northfork; 7 grandchildren, Casey (Josh) Tedder, Thomas (Ashley) Booker, Elijah Booker, Aidan Bailey, Korbin Bailey, Braeson Bailey and Addisyn Bailey; great grandchildren, Nova Tedder, Paige Booker, Cole Booker; brothers, George (Sharon) Sizemore of Bluewell and Ricky (Virginia) Sizemore Northfork, WV; 2 sisters, Karen (Hal) Lafferty of Northfork and Glena Rose of McDowell. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Debbie Cyphers officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. 

Friends may call on Thursday, from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home in Bluewell.
