Linda Angelelli

Linda Angelelli, 97, departed this earthly life Wednesday, March 4, 2026. She was born September 28, 1928 in Northfork, WV, to Italian immigrants, the late Angelo Angelelli and the late Teresa Lupi Angelelli. She graduated from Northfork High School, where she was a member of the girls’ basketball team, and then became a beauty school graduate employed at Breedings Beauty Shop in Northfork. Later, as the proud owner of Linda’s Beauty Shop there, she was the hairstylist to thousands in her 50 year career. She served as the WV Representative to the National Hairdressers Association convention, and found time to be an active participant in her hometown’s growth and improvement.

Besides being an avid traveler, Ms. Angelelli was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Powhatan, WV, where she served as Lector and President of the Guild. After moving to Bluefield, WV, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church she was a representative on the Bluefield Deanery and served as President of DCCW, was a member of Saint Ann’s Society and the Hospitality Committee, and volunteered for more than seven years at the Food Pantry. In Bluefield, she participated in CASE Senior Circle and Senior Connection of Bluefield Hospital.

Ms. Angelelli was also preceded in death by her sister Mary Vickers, and brothers Pietro Angelelli and Fernando Angelelli. She is survived by devoted nephews and nieces Tony and Joy Angelelli of Rockwood, TN, Fred and Gail Angelelli of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Mark and Cindy Angelelli of Charlotte, NC, Fran and Greg Rooker of Richmond, VA, Val and Randy Hostetler of Bisenti, Italy, and Shirley and Steve Conley of Midlothian, VA, Susan and Frank Alvarez of Hardy, VA, and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that gifts be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bluefield, WV, and/or Sacred Heart Catholic Church inPowhatan, WV.

A Visitation and Wake will be held at 6:00pm on Friday, March 13, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Powhatan, WV. Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00am on Saturday, March 14, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bluefield, WV, with Visitation at 10:00am.
