Larry James Duncan, 79, of Kingwood, WV, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023,
Born on July 26, 1944 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late James and Irene Beckner Duncan. He was a retired foreman and coal miner.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Beggs Duncan; a daughter, Amanda Duncan; and a sister, Brenda Burgess.
Survivors include a daughter, Cherie Carr; grandchildren, Logan Sparks, Tyler Farmer and Zaden Carr; a brother Sherman Duncan of FL and a sister Linda Laner of SC.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with his brother Sherman Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
