Julie Kirby

Julie Kirby, 63, of Princeton, WV, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024 at WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital. Born April 9, 1960, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothy Hicks Ombler. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Julie was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Kirby; brothers, Charles Ombler and Raymond “Ray” Ombler; and a sister, Bonnie Ombler.

Those left to cherish Julie’s memory are her son, David Kirby of Lexington, Kentucky; brothers, Ralph Ombler of Princeton, WV, Edward Ombler of Princeton, WV; sisters, Mary (Joe) Mitchelson of Bluefield, WV, Drema (Willis) Bishop of Bluefield, WV, and Stella Ombler of Princeton, WV; and one grandchild.

In keeping with Julie’s wishes, she will be cremated. 

Memorial services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Deliverance Temple in Brushfork with Rev. David Kirby.

Friends may call prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 at Deliverance Temple.
