Juanita Curran

Juanita Hall Curran, 92, of New Hope Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Princeton Community Hospital.

Born on February 2, 1929 in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Sally Hudgins Hall. She was a graduate of McComas High School and was a retired waitress at Frankie’s La’Salute in Bluewell. She loved gardening and canning.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Haller Wesley Curran; and three  3 brothers, Clyde, Ralph and Oakley Hall.

Survivors include her sons, Brent Curran of Bluefield and Brendan (Glenna) Curran of Bluefield; daughter, Shelia (Cody) Johnson of Rock; 4 grandchildren, Justin and Katherine Curran, Jessica Duke, Sheena Johnson; 4 great grandchildren, Chase and Peyton Mounts, Adaline Curran and Andrew Duke; and a sister, Ann (Jimmy) Sluder of Bluefield, WV.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Eddie Mabe officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
