Joyce Ann Gentry

Joyce Ann Gentry, 77, of Crumpler, WV, departed this world and entered into her Heavenly home on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at WVU Medicine Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV, with her children by her side. 

Joyce was born January 4, 1948 to the late Woodrow and Delma Reed Jennings. She is preceded in death by her husband Lonnie Gentry, brothers, Jackie and Larry Jennings, sister, Linda Mullins, granddaughter, Miranda Jennings, daughter, Laura Gentry, and great grandson, Braylon Brown. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Michael Gentry, of Winston-Salem, NC, Kimberly and David Hickman of Winston-Salem, NC, and Brian Gentry and fiance Crystal Asbury of Montcalm, WV; sisters, Sharon Sizemore and husband George of Bluewell, WV, Carolyn Bailey and husband Kenneth of Crumpler, WV; Mildred Hardin of Princeton, WV, grandsons, Eric Joyce of NC, and Kyle Glovier of Bluefield, and 14 great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held, Friday, April 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM at The Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV, with Ministers Kenneth Mullins and Lonnie Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 PM, at the funeral home.
