Joyce Rachels Davis

Joyce Rachels Davis, 80, of Bramwell, WV, passed away Monday, February 27, 2023 at her home. Joyce had been a resident of Bramwell, WV for fourteen years. Born May 9, 1942 in Surry County, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Kermit and Trudy Holt Rachels. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by two brothers, K.B. and Phillip Wayne Rachels.

Those left to cherish Joyce’s memory are her son, Dalton L. Davis of Blackankle, NC; daughters, Karen Lineberry of Blackankle, NC, Sharon Pugh of Asheboro, NC, Teresa White of Bramwell, WV, and Amy Hill of Asheboro, NC; 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

In keeping with Joyce’s wishes, she will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life service will be announced later. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Davis family.
