Johnny Allen Pack

Johnny Allen Pack, age 77, of Anawalt, WV died on Friday, May 15, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born on February 17, 1943 in Anawalt, he was a son of the late Joe Pack, Jr. and Fannie Shelton Pack. He had lived in Anawalt his entire life and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a retired coal miner and a UMWA member. He was a US Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War and was a member of the VFW. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 5 brothers and a sister.

           John Pack and wife Katie of Bluewell, WV

Daughter: Elizabeth Pack of Bluewell, WV

Sister: Betty Stepp and husband Jerry of Anawalt, WV

Grandchildren: Jeremiah and Josh Pack, Cory and Aaron Bolden, Jared and Will Youther, and Abby May and Jojo Pack

Great-Grandchildren: Ethan, Elijah, and Adalyn Bolden

A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Rev. James Milam officiating. Burial will follow with his grandsons and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Monday afternoon from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell prior to the service
