Johnny Lee Gorsky

Johnny Lee Gorsky, 68, of Northfork, WV, passed away Monday, February 16, 2026 at his home surrounded by family. Born September 15, 1957 in Welch, WV, he was a son of the late Johnny and Wazzennia Beatrice Parks Gorsky. He had been a resident of McDowell County for the majority of his life and was a retired coal miner. In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Bandy; and sister, Rita Gorsky. Nephew Kevin Gorsky and niece Lisa Gorsky.

Those left to cherish Johnny's memory are his loving wife, Juliet Gorsky of the home; daughter, Rebecca Gorsky of Arizona; a father to all the following, Tina Lambert, Barbie Lambert, TiAnn Morris, Belinda (Eric) Johnston, Amanda Wagner, Danielle (Clint) Hamilton, and Emily Friend; Grandchildren, Drayquion Hickman, Matoja Clendenin, Justice millirones, Edward Millirones, Darren Millirones. Nieces, Heather East (Kenny), and Susan Gorsky; nephews, Rodney Gorsky (Crystal), Shannon Gorsky (Mary). Great nephews Justin Gilkerson(Marissa) Matthew Gilkerson(Alexis),Ethan Gorsky (Abigail), Conner McKenzie, Josh Bandy (Heather) Austin East (Brittany) great nieces Brittany Young, Kelli Gorsky, Madison East.

A Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home. The Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service. In keeping with Johnny's wishes, he will be cremated.
