Proceeded in death by his parents, Jim and Lula "Dunford" Charles. Sisters, Helen Charles, Shirl Blackner, Brothers, William and Walter Charles.
Survived by Sister Gay "Steve" Boone. His loving Wife, Phyllis "Mitchell" Charles. Sons, Johnny Jr. "Juanita" Charles, Jamie "Tina" Charles. Daughters, Mary Blizzard, Demeita Carpenter Joy "Kevin" Skipper.; 11 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren, and many Nieces and Nephews.
He was retired US Army, a Free Mason and a Shriner. He was loved in life, and cherished death.
A celebration in life will be held date by Johnny's wishes.
