John Russell White

John Russell White, 92, of Bluefield, WV, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Mercer Nursing and Rehab.

Born on July 17, 1930 in Oakvale, WV, he was a son of the late John and Bertie Tabor White. He was a retired painter and had lived most of his life in Lynchburg, VA. 

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Hill White.

Survivors include his step-sons, Floyd Hill and wife Jan of Romney, WV, and Rodney Hill; step-daughter, Karen Meadows and husband James of Kingsport, TN; nephews, Jim Worley, Gary Worley; niece, Twila Davis, all of Bluefield, WV; and 8 step-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held on, Monday, November 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Resthaven Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery prior to services.
