Jerry Bruce Sizemore

Jerry Bruce Sizemore, 79, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Mercer Nursing and Rehab. Born July 31, 1946 in Algoma, WV, he was the son of the late William and Faye Blevins Sizemore. Jerry was a proud veteran of the United States Army and was a truck driver. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Sizemore; and his sister, Brenda East.

Those left to cherish Jerry's memory are his daughters, Sondra Cooper (Chris) of Siler City, NC, and Angie Johnson (Carey) of NC; nieces, Lisa Warden (Jeff) of Bluefield, WV, and Rebecca Davis (Adam) of Bluefield, WV; four grandchildren, Cole and Sampson Cooper, and Chase and Chloe Johnson.

Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, April 24, 2026 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Minister Willard Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where friends and family will serve as pallbearers. The Mercer County Veteran's Honor Guard will conduct military graveside rites.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
