Jerry Hershal Parker

Jerry Hershal “JP” Parker, 71, of Bluewell, passed away on May 18, 2019.

Born on August 18, 1947 in Mercer County, he was a son of the late Hershal and Louise Tyree Parker. Jerry was a resident of Bluewell and Herndon. He was the owner and operator of Rider’s Paradise on Pinnacle Creek in Wyoming County.

Survivors include:

Wife: Susan Nicewander Parker of the home

Sons: Randy Parker of Jessup, GA
Chris (Hope) Lusk of Princeton, WV
Casey Lusk of Christiansburg, VA

Daughter: Melissa Bevins of Oak Island, NC

10 grandchildren

Brother: Daran (Barbara) Parker of Waxhaw, NC

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 12:00-1:00PM at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Amedysis Hospice of Bluefield.
