Jerry Lee Lafferty

Jerry Lee Lafferty, 68 of Lashmeet passed away Tuesday May 1, 2018 in route to Princeton Community Hospital.Born April 28, 1950 in Welch, he was a son of the late John Henry and Lillian Gertrude Lafferty. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Kenneth and Kyle Lafferty and a daughter Robin Lynn Lafferty.Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 38 years; Joyce Lafferty, his children Steven Lafferty of Florida, Brandy Bishop of Oakvale, Joe Lafferty of Garwood, and Karen Richardson of Glen Daniels. Jerry leaves behind 10 grandchildren; Dakota, Kristen , Savannah, Austin, Brett, Lexi, Kiki, Justin, Emmalyn, and Mason, two brothers; Roger and Michael Lafferty both of OH, and two sisters; Clella Nowlin of Princeton and Rita Lambert of Herndon Heights.A memorial service will be held Wednesday May9, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with the Rev. Roger Lusk officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday May 9, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. until service time.
