Jerry Nelson Key

Jerry Nelson Key, 63, of Rock, WV, passed Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital.

Born July 27, 1960, in Welch, WV, he was a son of the late Alfred and Dina Cecil Key. Jerry worked as a truck driver for over 20 years at RHJ Trucking and was a veteran of the US Navy. He was a lifelong resident of McComas.

Survivors include Sheila Key, of Rock, WV; Justin Key and wife Grace of Rock, WV; brothers, Ronald Key of Rock, WV, Dexter Key of Bluefield, WV, and Larry Key and wife Nanette of TN; sisters, Wanda Hazelwood and husband Kenny and Linda Graham, all of Rock, WV; and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Jerry’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no public services.
