Jeffrey Nelson Lambert

Jeffrey Nelson Lambert, 47, of Anawalt, WV, died Monday, January 17, 2022.  He was the loving son of Willard and Linda (Hess) Lambert of Anawalt, WV.

Born December 23, 1974, in Bridgeton, NJ, he moved to West Virginia as an infant and lived there throughout his life. He was a graduate of Mount View High School. He was employed by the Iron Tigers of the Volvo Plant in Dublin, VA.  Jeffrey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harvey and Ollie (Marrs) Lambert of Leckie, WV and Everett (“EJ”) and Viola (Presley) Hess of Abbs Valley, VA.

In addition to his parents, Jeff is greatly missed and survived by the center of his world, his daughter, Hannah Cox; sister, Paula (Lambert) Akers and brother-in-law, Terry Akers; nephew, Matthew Akers; and niece, Marissa Akers, of Princeton, WV. Several uncles, aunts, cousins and countless friends, share fond memories.  His fur baby girl, Jasmine, will miss helping him with lawn care and taking him for walks.

Jeff had a gift for figuring out a solution for most any everyday trouble you had and was generous to lend a hand to help.  His warm smile and kindness readily won friends wherever he went. He enjoyed deer hunting and family vacations but especially spending time with Hannah and Marissa, who were never without fun ideas that Jeff joined in, loving every minute of it.

We will never forget and will greatly miss your bright smile, kindness and willingness to lend a hand to others to lighten their load.  We love you, Jeff, and our lives will never be the same without you.

Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Monday, January 24, 2022 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Stephan Webb and Rev. Todd Asbury officiating. Interment will follow at the Lambert Family Cemetery in Leckie, WV where friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be Monday 10:30 am until the time of service.
