Jeanne Ameli

Jeanne Combs Ameli, 76, of Bluewell, WV, passed away on January 9, 2024. 

Jeanne was preceded in death by the love of her life Nick Ameli, Jr., her parents, Robert H. Combs and Hazel Edwards Combs, step-grandson Trey Froy and step-great-grandson Carter Weston Havens. 

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Willis, of Bluewell, WV; step-children Daniel Ameli (Carrie) of Charleston, WV, Carol Havens, and Deborah Froy (Jimmy) of Bluefield, WV; sisters Barbara Kiser (Curtis) of Alexandria, VA and Katherine Dillion of Statesville, NC; brother Robert H. Combs, Jr. (Lula Belle) of Oliver Springs, TN; step-grandchildren Catherine Ameli, Jessica Havens, Alexandra Ameli, Christopher Havens (Peyton), Morgan Froy and Antonio Froy; many nieces and nephews, and especially cherished niece Deanna Ridgeway (Dean) of Alexandria, VA. 

Jeanne will be remembered for her involvement in many civic organizations in the community. 

Special thanks to her employees Robyn and Olivia Mays; to her best friend and companion, Joyce Sarver; and to her step-daughter Carol Havens for being with her during her illness. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Sacred Heart Food Pantry. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bluefield with Fr. Sebastian Devaysa officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell.

Friends may call on Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell.
