Jeanie Marie Lusk

Jeanie Marie Lusk, 74, of LIttlesburg Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024 at her home.

Born on January 1, 1950 in McComas, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Bessie Hicks Coeburn. She loved to travel to North Carolina, visit family, read, crochet and work puzzles. She formerly worked in the coal mines and for Lusk Disposal as well as Princeton Community Hospital and Bob Evans. 

She was preceded in death by her husband John “Johnny” Lusk; a sister, Elizabeth “June” Poore, and brothers, Thomas “Sonny” Coeburn and Darrin Coeburn.

Survivors include:

One son, John Lusk and wife Janice of Bluefield, WV

Five daughters, Robin Hancock and husband Randy of Montcalm, WV

                            Rhonda “Lee” Bailey and husband, the late Bobby “Buster” of Bluefield, WV

                            Shonda Shrader and husband Dennis of Bluefield, WV

                            Lucinda “Luci” Walters and husband James of Princeton, WV

                            Misty Lusk of Thomasville, NC

Brother: Robert “Wayne” Coeburn of Montcalm

Sisters: Caroline “Sue” Poore of Princeton, WV

            Linda Chambers of Bluefield, VA

            Sharon “Faye” Davidson of Bluefield, WV    

23 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. David Lusk officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
