Jason Stuart Hicks

Jason Stuart Hicks, beloved son, 51 of Richlands, VA, passed away on Thursday April 6, 2023, at his home.

Born on March 15, 1972, in Welch, WV he was a son of Monty and Deborah Cecil Ramella of Bluefield, VA. He was a loving son and an avid sports enthusiast. He attended Destiny Outreach Ministries in North Tazewell, VA.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents J. Stuart and Ina M. Cecil.

Survivors in addition to his parents, include his brother, Matthew Charles Hicks and wife Shandi, their children Landon and Clara and his sister, Montica Ramella Dillon.  In addition, Stuart Cecil (uncle), Tammy J. Cecil (aunt), Trey Cecil (cousin).  His extended family; Tullio and Linda Ramella, Christina R. Williamson and family, Anthony Ramella and family.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV with Pastor Steve Branch officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 1:00-2:00 at the funeral home.
