Janice Irene Green

Janice Irene Green, 79, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025 in Winston-Salem.

Born on July 4, 1945 in Superior, she was a daughter of the late Riley and Minerva Milam Belcher. She formerly lived in Michigan and was a dental office manager.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harrison Green, a daughter, Karen O’Brien, and all of her siblings.

Survivors include her daughter, Debbie (Carl) Sonnenschein of Winston-Salem, NC; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Andrew) and Katie (Chris); a great granddaughter, Alaya; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Trellis Supportive Care and her special caregivers, Gloria Ellison, Kendall Bowen, and Catherine Allison.

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Pastor Sanford Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at the service time.
