Janice Bowling

Janice Lee Bailey Bowling, 77, of Bluefield, WV, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Stonerise in Princeton. 

Born on September 10, 1943 in Bluefield, she was a daughter of the late Earnest James and Virginia Coburn Bailey. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church and was retired with 36 years of service from food service at Bluefield Regional Medical Center and formerly Bluefield Sanitarium. She was a former member of the Moose.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Bowling, and a brother, Douglas Bailey. 

Survivors include her son, Tim (Diana) Bowling of Bluefield; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and a brother, Wayne (Shirley) Bailey of Bluefield. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Greg Kinzer and Rev. David Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. 

Friends may call one hour prior to services, from 12:00-1:00 PM at the funeral home.
