Janet M. Fox

Janet Marie Fox, 86, of Bluefield, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the Mercer Healthcare Center in Bluefield.

Born on October 6, 1937 in McComas, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Daisy Gillenwater Bailey. She had been a lifelong resident of Mercer County and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lacy Fox; a brother, Ralph Bailey and a sister, Ilene Breeden.

Survivors include her son, Brian Lacy Fox of Bluefield; daughter, Alyce Blevins of Glade Springs, VA; grandson, Connor Fox of Green Bay, WI; brother, Jack Bailey of Kegley; and sisters, Aloma Osborne of Taylorsville, NC and Ramona Hudgins of Montcalm.

Janet's request was to be cremated and interred at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with no services scheduled at the present time.
