James (Jay) Henry Sarver

James (Jay) Henry Sarver, age 72, of Brushfork, WV passed away on September 19th, 2026, at Princeton Community Hospital. James was born March 31st, 1954, in Springville, VA to James Napoleon Sarver and Myrtle Elizabeth Sarver.

He loved his family. His passion when health permitted was to tinker on cars. He will be missed by ALL that knew him.

James was predeceased in death by his father, a brother Jimmy, and 2 sons JR and Joe. He is survived by his mother Myrtle; his wife Linda; his children Jack (Mary Ann), Karen (BJ), Lisa (Andy), Becky (Keith); and his siblings David, Betty (Johnny), Mary, Floyd (Dianna), Page, Tracy, Virgie, and Mike. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, and many FRIENDS that will miss Jay.

Honoring his wishes he will be cremated. A memorial service is being planned in the near future. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Sarver family.
