James Edward Mullins
April 7, 1953 — November 8, 2021
James Edward Mullins, Sr., 68, of Kimball, WV, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Born on April 7, 1953 in Welch, he was a son of the late Clarence and Myrtle Calloway Mitchem. He had been a lifelong resident of McDowell County and was a retired coal miner.
He was preceded in death by a son, James Edward Mullins, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Cline Mullins; a son, Jody, a daughter, Jennifer; grandchildren, Keri, Corey, Sherry, Briana, Jamie, Courtney, Brandon and Landon; great grandchildren, Carter, Kylah, Mason, and Lennon; and the father of Brandon and Landon, Jason Lambert.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell.
Friends may call prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
