James V. Lawless
November 28, 1934 — July 14, 2024
James V. Lawless of Waynesburg, PA, passed away Sunday, July 14th, 2024. Born November 28, 1934 in Welch, WV, he was a son of the late Phillip and Pearl Dove Lawless. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Consol Coal Company where he served as Superintendent.
He is survived by his wife, Violet Lawless; three sons, James Patrick and partner Teresa, Eric Todd and wife Tammy, and Christopher Matthew and partner Kelli; three grandsons, James Aaron, Brandon M., and Jacob Austin; one granddaughter, Tara N. Lawless; one great granddaughter, Vivian Grace Boin; brother, Michael Lawless; and, sisters, Margaret McCormick and Deborah Cole.
Viewing will be Friday, July 19th, 2024, from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. Interment will be at Grandview Memory Gardens. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Lawless family.
