Harold Lee Webb, 76 of North Tazewell, VA, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025 at his former home in Bluewell surrounded by friends and family. Born April 4, 1949 in Bluewell, WV, he was a son of the late James Elmer and Viola Mabe Webb. Harold was a 1967 graduate of Princeton High School He was a cattle farmer and a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl Edward Webb and Herbert Elmer Webb
Harold was a huge sports fan from golf, where he won several tournaments at several courses, basketball and football. He was a true die-hard Mountaineer fan, believing every season that WVU could bring home a championship. While attending high school he was a starting point guard and would brag about how many points he scored "before there were 3 pointers". Harold also enjoyed deer hunting where he was known to let 10-point bucks "get away" waiting for bigger and better. Harold also had a passion for vintage cars that began in the early 70/s while drag racing his GTO. Teresa tells a story of sitting on the front porch at his childhood home while several other dragsters would come looking for Webb and that GTO. Harold would slap those racing tires on the back and show them him and that GTO couldn't be beat.
Harold was a man of unparallel integrity. He believed in doing the right thing, even when it was hard, His honesty and moral compass were clear in everything he did, from his career to his relationships with family and friends. One thing about Harold, he was an honest man who was always true to his word. often saying "you're only as good as your word". A man of few words but so much wisdom in those words. His proficiency with numbers was unmatched; while weighing cattle he added up thousands of poundage as they passed the scale without mistake. Those that knew Harold knew when he did something he did it full throttle, often times putting others before himself.
Harold faced life's challenges with courage and grace never letting anything stop him. He as a do or die man. As his wife Teresa stated how can you sum of the kind of man her husband was in a few short paragraphs. He loved his family with his whole heart especially his granddaughter Madison. He wasn't just an incredible husband, dad, or papaw, he was an incredible human being. His love, wisdom, and strength will continue to guide us, and his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration. Even though he is no longer with us physically, his spirit lives on in those he touched, and his legacy will always be a part of us.
