Harold Lee Pruitt

Harold "Fred" Lee Pruitt a beloved grandfather, father, uncle, brother, and friend to many passed away on January 5, 2026. Harold was the oldest of five children and born on May 11, 1959 in Bluefield, WV. He was employed by Renew Building and Construction. He was a general contractor and jack of all trades. He loved hunting, fishing, NASCAR, playing bingo, and hanging with his ol' dog Jack. 

Harold is proceeded in death by his mother Lillie Martin, his Grandparents, Sister Tammy Crouse, Nephew CJ Tilles, and Brother in Law Barry Dinger. Left to cherish his memory is his son Garett, one brother Eddie Pruitt (Teresa Turner), two sisters Brenda and Regina (Scotty Shilling), special friend Laura Billings, three Grandchildren, eight Nieces, and four Nephews. He will be greatly missed by many.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be greatly appreciated, please make to Cravens-Shires Funeral Home. Harold's funeral service will be on Wednesday January 7, 2026 at 7:00pm with Reverend Eddie Mabe officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 5:00pm.
