Gloria Fern Bell

Gloria Fern Bell, 83, of Bramwell, WV, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024 at WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital.

Born on May 10, 1941 in Boissevain, VA, she was a daughter of the late William and Margie Collins Howard. She had been a resident of Nemours for 57 years and was a graduate of Pocahontas, VA and attended the Jesus Church of Big Vein. She was a retired school bus driver for Mercer County Schools and was most recently a private caregiver.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Steve and Dennis Bell; and a sister, Deborah Howard.

Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Bell of the home; a son, Tommy William Bell of Nemours, WV, daughters, Terry Sink of Coopers and Shelia Summers of Coopers; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; brothers, Donald B. (Juanita) Howard of Abbs Valley, VA, Billy Howard of Bluefield, VA, and Jim (Mary) Howard of Abbs Valley, VA; and a sister, Wanda Epperson.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA with Rev. Frank Lester officiating. Burial will follow with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
