Gerri Lynn Sizemore

"When I get where I'm going, and I see my maker's face. I'll stand forever in the light of His amazing grace."

Gerri Lynn Sizemore finished her earthly race on Monday, December 22nd 2025. After a long and trying battle with Kidney Disease, as well as many other ailments, she is finally free of all sickness and pain; resting and worshiping at the feet of her savior. Gerri was born to the late Carl Thomas and Joyce Barnette on July 13th 1974 in Bluefield, WV. In addition to her loving parents she was preceded in death by the love of her life, Shawn Sizemore in 2012. Gerri was a woman after God's own heart, and wanted nothing more than to show the love and mercy of Jesus to all that she encountered. She loved to read and draw. She was also a very talented singer and song writer. She loved her family so much, and even when she could barely care for herself she wanted to care for them first. Her absence will forever leave a hole in her children and grandchildren's heart, but they have peace knowing she is no longer suffering and that she is finally healthy and at peace. 

Gerri's legacy and love will live on through her loving family that are left to cherish and share her memory. Her daughters, Carlie (Tyler) Laws and Abigail (Luis) Sizemore. Her precious grandchildren, Jaxon, Maverick, Cleo, Illiana, and Jr. Her sister, Kathy (Ronnie) Payne, Brothers Joey (Tammy) Thomas and David Thomas. Nieces, Jennifer (Caleb) Gibbons, Amanda (Joe) Stewart, Kirsten Thomas, Hannah (Richard) Evans, and Rebecca (Josh) Pilkins. Nephews, D.W. (Brittany) Thomas and Dustin Dunkley. She also leaves behind her great nieces and nephews and a couple great great babies that will be here in 2026. All of which loved their "Auntie Mamaw" very much. 

Gerri's wish was to be cremated and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
