Gary O'Dell Lowe

Gary O'Dell Lowe, 73, of Kimball, WV, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025, at his home. 

Born on March 11, 1952, in Welch, he was a son of the late Leroy and Flossie Belcher Lowe. He had lived in Kimball for 9 years and was a loader operator for 30 years at Branscome in Williamsburg, VA. 

He was preceded in death by his deceased wife, Judy Hagerman Lowe; and a sister, Edna Lowe Noe. 

Survivors include his significant other, Rose Wingler of the home; sons, Gary "Shane" Lowe, Jr., of Williamsburg, VA, Ronnie Presnell on a walkabout; daughters, Donna (Michael) Chandler of Williamsburg, VA, Tonya (Butchie) Williams of Williamsburg, VA, and Kimberly Burks of Williamsburg, VA; 22 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, George (Carol) Lowe, Raybuck (Mary Lou) Lowe, of WV, and Butch (Robin) Lowe of VA; and sister, Carolyn Foster, of OH.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Joey Massey, Scottie Cline and JB Robinette officiating. Military honors will be performed by the Mercer County Veterans Council. Burial will follow at the Rock House Cemetery at Carswell Hollow in Kimball.
