Frieda G Crigger

Frieda G. Crigger, 85, of Tarboro, NC passed away Saturday May 22, 2021 at Princeton Community Hospital.  Born June 1, 1935 at Flattop, WV, she was a daughter of the late Sterling and Arena Massey Anderson.  She was a retired Forklift Operator for Alfred Packaging Company and was a member of the Tarboro, NC Penders Chapel Church.  In addition to her parents, Frieda was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Crigger, Sr.; 2 sons, Thurman “Button” Sluss and Jeffrey “Butch” Sluss; daughter, Terry Sluss; and several brothers and sisters.

Those who are left to cherish Frieda’s memory are her sons, Roy Lee Crigger (Mary) of SC, and Randall Crigger; daughters, Gerri “Sissy” Crigger of NC, Lorna Blevins (Stephen) of Princeton, WV, and Marchelle Munson (Russell) of PA; brother, Tommy Anderson of Bluefield, VA; sister, Dixie Hampton of NC; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In the words of Judith Karen Bulock, “Remember me when flowers bloom early in the Spring, remember me on sunny days in the fun that summer brings. Remember me in fall as you walk through the leaves of gold. Remember me in the wintertime in stories that are told.  But most of all remember each day right from the start.  I will be forever near for I live within your heart.”  We love you so much.
