Freddie Coy Tooley, 74, of Princeton, WV, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Charleston, WV.

Born on July 31, 1946, he was a son of the late Arthur James and Hazel Thompson Tooley. He was a retired miner and carpenter.

He was preceded in death by one son, Greg Tooley, 4 sisters and 1 brother.

Survivors include his son, Freddie Wayne Tooley of McComas; daughters, Melissa Castillo of Sparta, NC and Patricia Adkins; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Johnny Tooley of Rock and Jimmy (Sue) Tooley of Salem, VA; and sisters, Vickie (Mickey) Kennett of McComas, Hazel (Johnny) Browning of McComas, Darlene Tooley of Bluefield, and Brenda Ryles; and special brothers, Dewayne and Dwight Sizemore.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Jim Kestner officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell.


Friends may call on Thursday from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home.
