Frank Wishnevsky, Jr. 55, of Welch, formerly of Kimball (Tidewater Stretch), went to be with our Lord and Savior peacefully with his family by his side on July 18, 2022 after a battle with a long illness. He fought a hard battle to live. Frank, Jr. was proceeded in death by his father, Frank, Sr. and mother, Shirley; brothers, Eugene and Alvin; and sister Connie.
Frank will be remembered by his loving son and family, Cody Hall and Carrie and his step-grandchildren, TJ and Maddie Church; his brother who loved him dearly and was always there in time of need day in day out, brother, Fred and wife Lynn Wishnevsky of Coaldale; Frank also has a loving brother Johny Wishnevsky of Bassett, VA; a loving sister, Joyce Surber of Collinsville, VA; his loving niece who was his caregiver in the hospital (Erica Belcher, her companion Brandon Comer, both of Princeton; great nephew, Chandler and Niece, Rhayleigh Wishnevsky who love him; one nephew who was his favorite pal always doing for him, Joseph T. Wishnevsky and his companion, Erica Akers both of Bluewell; his great niece Arionna Padgett and great little nephew, Brantley Joe Wishnevsky (Baby Joe).
Frank drove a coal truck for numerous companies most of his life. He loved drawing and driving coal trucks was his passion and loved animals. Frank was caring, kind, and would help others. He was loved by all his cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Cravens-
Shires Funeral Home with Pastor Angie Gillespie officiating. Burial will follow in Rock House Cemetery where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Wishnevsky family.
