Frank "Frankie' Morris

Frank (Frankie) Morris, 72 , of Princeton, WV, died November 11, 2021 at CAMC in Charleston, WV. Frank was born on April 16, 1949 in McDowell county to his parents the late Howard Luther Morris and Louise Grose Morris of Rocky Gap, VA. He was a Vietnam veteran and was a retired coal miner. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Luther Morris; and his brother, Howard Russell Morris. In addition to his mother, Louise Grose Morris of Rocky Gap, VA, he is survived by his wife, Joan Lail Morris of the home; a son, Anthony Todd Morris of Pocahontas, VA; a special niece, Ava Murphy (my baby) of the home. He is also survived by brothers Jerry Morris (Gwen) of Falls Mills, VA, Luther Morris (Carolyn) of Bluewell, WV, Randall Morris of Bluewell, WV; and one sister, Ethel Thorne (Robert) of Lerona, WV. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Reginald Blakewood officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Bluewell where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Graveside rites will be performed by the Mercer County Veteran’s Honor Guard.
