Florence Louise Williamson, 82, of Lynchburg, VA, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025 at her home.
Born on September 12, 1942 in Bluefield, WV, she was a daughter of the late Jack Wood Montgomery and Alma Shrader Spinella. She was retired from Hill’s Department Store and was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Ray Spinella and Tony Spinella, Jr.; and her stepfather, Rev. Tony Spinella, Sr.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, nannie and aunt. While employed at Hill’s she made many lifetime friends. She was a very special lady who would do anything for you and would help anyone if she could. After her retirement, she enjoyed her private life at home but kept in touch with everyone via online, texting or a phone call. We will all miss those simple texts or calls letting us know of what’s on sale, the weather, if our phones had an update or just to chat for a bit.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Thomas Williamson of the home; children, Richard A. Reed, Vicky F. Alvis, Bruce G. Reed, Becky S. (Ray) Shelton, Wendy D. (Joe) Robertson, and Sherry L. (Steve) Shull; 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Darlene (David) Fuqua; and her fur baby Dusty Lee; who was her pride and joy that she loved very much.
