Faye Frances Jones

Faye Frances Jones, 96, of Radford, VA, and formerly of Coalwood, WV, went peacefully to her heavenly home on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at the Carilion New River Valley Medical Center surrounded by her family. 

Born on April 4, 1930 in Premier, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ellis O'Brien and Daisy Pearl (Hull) Lee. She had been a resident of Coalwood for 65 years and was of the Holiness faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Roy Mitchell Jones. Nine brothers; Ellis, Tommy, Jack, Rob, Donald, Frankie, Cecil, Roy and Danny Lee.

Survivors include her daughter, Donna Gale (David) Hicks of Radford; son, David Mitchell (Darlene) Jones of Coalwood; 4 grandchildren, Angela (Joseph) Caldwell of Radford, VA; Matthew Hicks of Radford, VA; Jackie (Mary) Stamper of Tazewell, VA and Robert (Charlotte) Stamper of Coalwood, WV 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Irvin (Debbie) Lee of Oceana, WV;  Earnest Johnny Lee of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Alice (Bill) Fleming of Bristow, VA and Patricia (Fred) Joyce of Luray, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Irvin Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Matthew Hicks, Jackie Stamper, Robert Stamper, Randy Lee, Jason Taylor and Timmy Gibson serving as pallbearers. 

Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8PM.
