Fairley Lee Burks, Jr.

Fairley Lee Burks Jr. 57, of Princeton WV gained his wings after a long-time illness on August 16^th 2021 at his residence in Princeton Wv. Fairley was born on October 11^th 1963 in Welch WV to Fairley Burks SR., and Gracie Burks.

 Fairley Jr. graduated from Mountain View High School in 1984 and was married to Lesha (Roberts) Burks from (2008-Internity), who survives. He worked at BP Tankers of Mississippi as a truck driver for many years. He was a proud Husband, Father, and grandfather. Fairley was a Family Man and never meet a stranger. He would put himself last to help others. Fairley loved antique cars and working with his hands. 

Surviving with his wife, Lesha, are his two daughters, and family, Miranda Mitchem of Kimball Wv, and Kaylee McPeak of Bluefield Wv, Son in laws Shannon Mitchem of Kimball Wv and Jeffery Mcpeak of Bluefield Wv, Grandchildren Alexis, Alivia, Ariana, Austin, Ashton, Kolton, and Weston, Father Fairley Burks Sr of Ararat VA, Brother Brian Burks and family, and sister Amy Catron and husband, Longtime friends, Sam Goins of Anawalt Wv, and Charlie Gray of Mississippi, and many nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in Death by Mother Gracie Burks, Grandmother Lillie Graham, Sister Tammy Underwood, Grandson Hunter Mitchem, and Nephew TJ Roberts

Pallbearers Jeffery McPeak, Shannon Mitchem, Nephew Jacob Roberts, BJ Cooper, Jeff Catron, and Chris Gilmore.

 A Memorial Service honoring Fairley Burks Jr Life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday Aug. 21, 2021 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Speaker Sam Goins officiating.  Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluefield WV.

Friends may call prior to services, from 12:00-1:00 PM at the funeral home.
