Eula Hughes

Eula Ann Hager Hughes, 75, of Sandlick, WV, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Princeton Community Hospital.

Born on August 14, 1947 in Sandlick, she was a daughter of the late Rader and Eula Blanche Gunnode Hager. She had been a lifelong resident of Sandlick and was a retired manager for the Salvation Army Thrift Shop in Princeton for over 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Elwood Hughes, Sr., and an infant brother.

Survivors include her sons, James E. Hughes, Jr., Michael Hughes, Clinton S. (Becky) Hughes; and a daughter, Tresa Ann Hughes, all of Sandlick; 3 grandchildren, Heather Dehart, Amber Hughes, Shelena Hasting; 6 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Gloria Dale of Sandlick and Betty Fletcher, of Charleston, WV.

Private funeral services for the family will be conducted with Rev. Dave Lusk officiating and burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
