Ervin Lenard Thompson, Jr.

Ervin L. Thompson 2nd of Vivian Bottom, Kimball WV passed on December 16th, 2024, at the age of 68.

Proceeded in death by his father and mother, Ervin L. Thompson and Evelyn B. Thompson. 

Survived by his wife, Carol J. Thompson, his daughter, Pearl A. Johnson, and his three sons, Donald G. Johnson, Cody N. Thompson and Robert L. Thompson. His grandchildren, Amber B. Eldridge, Anthony J. Johnson, Hannah R. Thompson, Elijah N. Thompson, and Jonah I. Thompson. His sister, Carolyn Spencer.

Ervin is many things to many people, a brother, father, grandfather and friend. He was who and whatever we needed, a provider, protector, jester and suppoter. 

He was always there for all of us. 

He was a very talented man and never failed to make someone laugh. Some of his favorite things were planes, trains, cars and music. But above all else, he loved his family. What a strong and kind love he had for us.

We will forever miss him. He is at rest now.
