Ellen Grahovac

Ellen Belcher Grahovac, 94, of Conklintown, WV, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2026 at her home. Born January 29, 1932 in Anawalt, WV, she was a daughter of the late Harrison Belcher and Freeda Caldwell Bridgeman. Ellen was a member of the Jenkinjones Methodist Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mike John Grahovac; son Mark Grahovac; brother Bill Belcher; and son-in-law, Joseph Ricky Nogosky; also step-parents, James Bridgeman and Aileen Belcher. 

Those left to cherish Ellen's memory are her son, John Grahovac of Princeton, WV; daughter, Patricia Nogosky of Alabaster, Alabama; brother, Greg Belcher of South Carolina; two grandchildren, Nicole Askew (Jason) of Alabama, and Brad (Cheyenne) Grahovac of Tennessee; and three great-grandchildren, Nick, Jana Ellen, and Nathaniel Askew of Alabama; and special cousin, Tom Moore(Ann) of Alabama.

A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, April 24, 2026 at Woodlawn Memorial Park with Jerry Stepp officiating. There will be no public visitation. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery; a guest book will be available to sign.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Stepp, Mike Rose, Doug Miller, Dale Richardson, Nick Askew and Richard Martin.  Honorary pallbearers are Danny Bridgeman, Arthur Greer, and Jesse Spencer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to Jenkinjones Methodist Church, PO Box 99, Anawalt, WV 24808 in Ellen's memory.
