Eleanor Moore

Eleanor Moore, 73, of Montcalm, WV passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Princeton Community Hospital.

Born on February 7, 1949 in Welch, WV she was a daughter to the late Herbert and Mabel Lowe Sizemore. She was a retired manager from the Dollar General in Welch.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Moore, and four sisters, Pauline Mayer, Betty Mullins, Zola Osborne, and Barbara Bunting.

Those left to cherish Eleanor’s memory are her son, James Mitchem of Indiana; step-son, James Milverton Moore of Florida; nieces and nephews, Judy Lanter, Billy Mullins, Billy Osborne, Lisa Clevinger, and Lonnie Osborne.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating. Internment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
