Edna Ellis

Edna Ellis, 76, of Maybeury, WV, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022.

Born on April 21, 1946 in Logan County, she was a daughter of the late Boyd and Gertrude Thornhill Baisden. She had been a resident of Maybeury for 20 years and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Clinton Ellis; and 2 sons, David and Benjamin.

Survivors include her 2 sons, Brett (Brittany) Ellis of Bluefield, and Robert Ellis of Rock; daughter, Angela Smith of Princeton, WV; 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and a sister, Juanita Baisden of SC.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. David Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Tuesday prior to services, from 10:00-11:00; at the funeral home.
