Earnest Dean Bailey, Jr.

Earnest Dean Bailey, Jr., 39, of Charlotte, NC, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 after a long hard-fought battle with Leukemia. Born April 8, 1982 in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of Barbara Jo Walker Bailey and the late Earnest Dean Bailey. In addition to his father, JR was preceded in death by a sister, Belinda Gail Bailey. He loved hiking and the outdoors, jet skiing, and four wheeling. One of his favorite past times was being a weather chaser. He was also an excellent auto mechanic to his family and friends. Earnest was a Cash Service Manager with Garda World.

Those left to cherish JR’s memory are his mother, Barbara Jo Bailey of Bluefield, WV; his sister, Shellie Bailey and husband, Charles Pinnix of Pinnacle, NC; and nephew, Brandon Pinnix of Pinnacle, NC.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Hunt officiating. Family and friends may visit beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
